

There is a something difficult to believe, for me, in the concept that such an event as this would go 'literally' under the radar.

I had hoped for more potency in the stakes and a little more oomph in the overall pacing/plot. That, however, was a bit of an issue for my personal tastes. If you are into a bit of nonabrasive reading with casual pacing and an air of positivity, this is for you. That relationship is the main strength of the story, really. And the development of friendship between the MC Selena, and the alien who crashed in her backyard, eventually named Breadbox, is lovely. The story takes off right from the opening, which I appreciate.
